We are currently inviting expressions of interest from female General Practitioners with a passion for women’s health to join a progressive, multidisciplinary telehealth clinic dedicated to providing truly holistic care for women across Australia.
This role is designed for GPs who are motivated to move beyond a “one-size-fits-all” approach to women’s health. The model prioritises comprehensive assessment, root-cause exploration, and personalised care planning, rather than defaulting to contraceptive prescriptions as the primary solution.
We are seeking clinicians who are passionate about exploring the full spectrum of evidence-based treatment pathways and who are comfortable prescribing medicinal cannabis where clinically appropriate.
About the Role
The position involves delivering virtual GP consultations (15–40 minutes) covering a broad range of women’s health concerns, including:
- Menstrual and hormonal health
- Chronic pelvic pain and gynecological conditions
- Sexual and reproductive health
- Menopause and perimenopause care
You will provide specialised care for conditions such as:
- Endometriosis
- PCOS
- Adenomyosis
- Menopause and hormone-related symptoms (including migraines, fatigue, gut issues, and mood changes)
Treatment plans are individualised and multidisciplinary, and may include:
- Prescription medications (including medicinal cannabis when appropriate)
- Nutritional and supplement support
- Lifestyle and preventative health recommendations
- Referrals for in-person testing or specialist care where required
Integrated Multidisciplinary Model
You will be working within a collaborative care environment alongside:
- Psychologists delivering evidence-based therapy for trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, postpartum challenges, and life transitions
- Naturopaths providing holistic support through herbal medicine, nutrition, and lifestyle planning for hormonal, digestive, and stress-related conditions
- Sexologists supporting patients with intimacy, sexual pain, libido concerns, LGBTQIA+ affirming care, and postnatal or menopause-related sexual health
How the Model Works
- Patients book secure telehealth appointments from home
- A comprehensive intake process supports detailed clinical assessments
- GPs develop collaborative treatment plans that may include prescriptions, allied health referrals, or diagnostic testing
- Prescriptions are issued through the clinic portal, with discrete pharmacy delivery available Australia-wide
- Ongoing care is supported by clinic nurses and care coordinators, allowing GPs to focus on clinical care
Who This Role May Suit
We are particularly interested in GPs who:
- Have a strong interest in women’s and hormonal health
- Value holistic, patient-centred care
- Are comfortable discussing integrative treatment approaches
- Are open to prescribing medicinal cannabis when clinically appropriate
- Enjoy telehealth and collaborative multidisciplinary care
